FRANK MARATTA CAR SHOW 1/28 – 1/30/11
Monday, February 7th, 2011Photos from the Frank Maratta Car Show on January 28th through 30th where Heather unveiled the 24 SK Modified. She also participated in the drivers autograph session and the Pit Crew Challenge on the 5 Women Wrenching Pit Crew. The end of the show saw the #24 Modified receiving the “Best Open Wheeled Race Car” trophy! A great way to start the season!!!

Sunday, February 7th, 2010The Frank Maratta Auto & Cycle show was held in the Ct Expo Center in Hartford on Feb 5,6 and 7 2010. Heather and the SK Light #10 appeared through the weekend. Heather participated in an autograph session on Saturday evening and then participated in the Pit Crew Challenge with the “Five Women Wrenches” crew and did a commendable job – finishing well under a minute at 42 seconds! Not bad for 5 ladies who had never done this before! On Sunday, 2/5, Heathers modified won the title of “Best Appearing Modified” in the show! It was a great weekend!
FALL FINAL WIN 10/4/09

Heather and the DesRochers team finished their 2009 season on a very high note by winning the Stafford Motor Speedway Fall Final SK Light feature! It was a very exciting race which Heather won on the final restart. It marked the end of her most successful season yet at Stafford Speedway and put her in 4th place out of 30 registered cars in the final points tally. This was Heather’s highest finish in year end points at Stafford. As always, Heather and the Team want to thank our most generous sponsors: ECI/Cliff Nelson Motorsports, Reen Orthodonitcs, Basement Systems, A. Crane construction, Western Mass Collision, and Frasco Fuel Oil for all their help in making this year possible. We truly would not be where we are without their help. Secondly, Heather wishes to thank her crew chief Jimmy Fuller for all his help and guidance this year, and special thanks to crew members: Head Mechanic Don DesRochers, Conrad DesRochers, Harold Churchill and Pat Howe. They are all very dedicated and talented, and each of them helped put the #10 SK Light into victory lane!
